2. User Accounts & Eligibility

To use certain features of our platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use our platform to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malicious software
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or contractors
• Impersonate any person or entity

4. Contractor Vetting Disclaimer

While we strive to vet and verify contractors in our network, Renoa.ai:

• Does not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or legality of services provided by contractors
• Is not responsible for disputes between homeowners and contractors
• Does not employ contractors and acts solely as a matching platform
• Recommends that users conduct their own due diligence before hiring
• Encourages users to verify licenses, insurance, and references independently

Contractors are independent service providers, not employees or agents of Renoa.ai.

5. Payment Terms

Our platform operates under the following payment structure:

• For Homeowners: Our matching service is completely free
• For Contractors: Subscription fees apply for network membership and lead access
• All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors
• Subscription fees are billed according to the selected plan (monthly or annually)
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies:

• Homeowners can delete their accounts at any time at no cost
• Contractors can cancel their subscriptions with 30 days' notice
• Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis for unused subscription periods
• No refunds are provided for partial months or lead credits
• Cancellation does not relieve you of obligations for services already rendered

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality on the Renoa.ai platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are the exclusive property of Renoa.ai and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Renoa.ai is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the past 12 months
• We are not responsible for contractor performance, quality, or conduct
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in class action lawsuits. The arbitration shall take place in Chicago, Illinois.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason we deem appropriate. Upon termination, your right to use the platform immediately ceases.
